The Pier
Glensheen’s concrete pier provides the perfect view over Lake Superior! Originally L-shaped when built, extending 30 ft out and another 65 ft to the right and protects the boathouse. The boathouse once safe harbored the Congdon’s 53-foot yacht Hesperia. The now 30 ft pier that remains allows guests to relax on the shore and becomes our main stage for Concerts on the Pier in the summer!
